**Mo te tūranga** | **About the Role**:
**This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Specialist Banking Compliance team.**

In this role as a Senior Compliance Manager, you will support the organisation from a CCCFA and financial advice compliance perspective, including advising on new initiatives and ongoing BAU compliance activity. You will be a key player in ASB's CCCFA & financial advice Centre of Excellence supporting compliance in these key banking regulatory areas across the organisation. You'll need to rely on your excellent stakeholder management skills and technical ability in the aforementioned areas when taking the lead in risk management and new compliance initiatives.

You will work cohesively and collaboratively within and across all lines of accountability, you will take ownership in supporting the management of issues and incidents from a CCCFA and/or financial advice compliance perspective while consistently acting in accordance with ASB values and risk appetite. As a senior manager, you will engage, influence and challenge our senior stakeholders to enable you to pragmatically deliver positive outcomes for our customers.

- Positivity and resilience under pressure
- 7-10 years banking, compliance and/or legal experience
- Ability to take ownership of complex tasks and deliver to agreed outcomes while keeping stakeholders appropriately engaged
- Confidence to work with multiple stakeholders across ASB
- Experience in process design and Compliance/Operational Risk Frameworks
- Proven ability to assess impact of regulatory change on an organisation and lead implementation of change initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of CCCFA and FMCA (financial advice) regulation and experience in supporting the implementation of new processes which are compliant with these requirements.
