**We’re all about endless potential**:
We’re the team empowering New Zealand’s digital future. A future few can imagine. It started with the roll-out of our once in a hundred year network. But there’s much more to come as we keep pushing what’s possible, providing unlimited access to an ever-evolving range of innovative products and services. Technology that’ll support, inspire and connect people and businesses for generations.
To that end, we need more curious, collaborative and forward-thinking people. Because while we’re busy improving our national network, we’ll need more of the best to join our truly inclusive workforce, one where you’ll be made to feel you belong, and that everything you do is valued (because you do, and it is).
As for our culture. Our people say it’s one of the best around. We’re proud of that. And with our Chorus Care package benefits behind you too, you’ll have everything you need to seize this opportunity and make it your own.
**Work your way.**
**What you’ll be doing**
As a Graduate Automation Engineer, you are an integral part of our Chorus Quality Assurance team, playing a key role in ensuring we deliver high quality infrastructure that will help New Zealand grow and give all Kiwis access to a world of opportunity.
Demonstrating your expertise, passion and acquired skills while you operate as part of an effective and engaged CTO Team that is leading Chorus into the future.
Chorus's Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Programme is a springboard to a satisfying and important future - one that's vital to maintaining New Zealand's fibre network.
As one of our graduates. You’ll work with a variety of technologies, for example:
- Salesforce
- MuleSoft
- Java
- JavaScript
- Layer 2 networks
- Jenkins
- Bitbucket
**What you’ll bring to the table**
To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable with facilitating discussions, prioritize tasks, and work well in a team. You value diversity and have a good understanding of software development methods. Your ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and think in terms of possibilities rather than constraints will be an awesome strength. It’s critical for you to have tenacity and drive for outcome as the tech industry evolves. But having the following will be the foundation of the mahi (work) which you will be able to grow from:
- Recent completion or final year of tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Able to develop software in Java and JavaScript.
- Can write unit tests in a framework like Junit, TestNG or Jess.
- Use Git for managing source code.
**Keen?**
If this role is something you’re interested in and you’d like to join a network that matters, submit your interest today.
