**Who will you be working for?**

As a leading supplier of productionline solutions that focuses heavily on automation and diverse client-base this company offers considerable career and knowledge development for a ambitious and capable Automation Engineer with energy and drive.

**What will you be doing?**

As a member of the Operations team you will be responsible for the design, implementation and servicing of automation solutions including new machinery and production lines, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, integration of equipment into existing production lines, conducting factory and site acceptance tests, commissioning machinery onsite, and supporting the service team with existing installations. You will also work to integrate systems with customers' ERP systems and other databased, and install and configure third party solftware solutions.

Working alongside the Design team, you will have direct responsibility for the programming of PLCs, HMIs, Vision verification systems, variable frequency drives and other software solutions as required. You will also provide technical input during the quotation, tendering and project completion stages, and assist with the procurement of components. So - lots of diversity and plenty to get your teeth into.

**What are we looking for?**
- You are a high achiever that enjoys producing results.
- You are a trade qualified Electrical or Control Systems Engineer, or hold a suitable engineering degree (Electrical or Mechatronics).
- An EST or full Electrical license would be ideal however support is offered to gain registration to those otherwise qualified.
- You’ve proven your ability to develop and deliver Automation Solutions, including developing user interfaces (HMI, SCADA) and PLC programs on multiple platforms (Allen Bradley, Siemens & Omron).
- Experience using other languages and environments such as C#, Python, Lua and JavaScript would be highly advantageous (but are not deal-breakers).
- You are proficient in creating electrical drawings in either AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- This is a client-facing role, so your written and spoken English needs to be clear and precise, you have great customer relation skills and are easy to get on with.
