We are seeking a person to join the Coated Products factory in Nelson. Join the team that makes the products you’ll instantly recognise The hours vary slightly. Start time is usually between 5.00am and 6.00am until 2.30pm, Monday - Friday.

This role requires good mechanical aptitude and the ability to think and plan, managing the requirements and timing of product changes so that processing downtime is minimized. The role is part of the wider production team and flexibility to work wherever needed to achieve the production plan and meet cleaning, quality compliance and safety standards of the whole shift.

To be successful in this role you will need to have capability with working with machinery, ensuring the lines are efficiently and correctly set up for production. The role requires some physically demanding work, moving machinery in and out of processing position as products change, lifting of bulk raw materials and manoeuvrability around moving machinery.

As part of a small sub team, responsible for product set-ups, your reliability and the ability to work harmoniously and quickly adapt to change is essential. Being able to read and understand production plans and materials lists is critical to ensure product and quality standards are not compromised. Full training will be provided for the right applicant.
