We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join our team as a TAO Health Workforce Transition Co-ordinator. This role is responsible for co-ordinating and implementing re-engagement activities with communities, groups and individuals to choose a study pathway towards a health career, promoting our Schools of Nursing, Health & Counselling and Social Work.

Key duties this role will be responsible for:

- Lead recruitment activities to meet project targets for Māori and Pacific students entering the health career educational pipeline
- Set up meetings with identified groups to promote pathways into health careers at MIT
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key organizations and individuals, in promoting Te Ara Oranga to tauira.
- Liaise with Schools and Communities Team to support visits to the Schools of Nursing and Health & Counselling and Social Work
- Maintain an updated database of qualified student outcomes
- Assist with the promotion of Te Ara Oranga through social media
- Work collaboratively as required with Health Workforce Mentors, Health Workforce Hauroa Navigator, Research & Data Analyst and Health Workforce Assistant

- Passion to support Māori and Pasifika student success
- Confidence in Te Ao Māori and/or Pasifika world views an advantage
