**Position Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Manager to join a growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of key projects that are essential to the organisations ongoing success. If you are a passionate and results-driven professional with a proven track record in project management and development, we want to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development of critical projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and provide proactive solutions.
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability within the development team.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a high-performance work environment.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and contractors.
Must be based in Wellington, New Zealand. Must be legally able to work in New Zealand.
