This is an organisation who serve more than 400 clients to help businesses realise efficiencies, reduce their carbon footprint, and be more sustainable.

**About the position**:
Audits are undertaken for our customers on an annual basis to ensure that the requirements of the environmental programme they are participating in are being met.

The function of this role is to undertake audits across our certification programmes, working closely with the Client Delivery Team to improve audit processes, and auditing of new products. The responsibilities of the position include mentoring of junior audit personnel, provision of on-the-job training, and there may be a requirement for regular travel to visit clients.

**Roles Responsibilities**:

- Involvement in all types of GHG and carbon audit activities
- Undertaking and supporting the certification process including independent/certification reviews
- Building strong relationships and creating a good audit experience with clients
- Supporting client delivery and business development activities
- Mentoring and training junior audit personnel

**You will need to be able to demonstrate**:

- Qualification or proven auditing experience in finance or the environmental sustainability industry
- Effective relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to train and mentor other staff members
- Strong commercial acumen
- High level attention to detail
- Completes work efficiently and to a high standard
- Initiative to seek out ways to help
