**Job Title**: Team Leader Native Afforestation Nursery Advice

**Role type**: Full Time Permanent

**Salary range**: $113,626 to $152,318 depending on skills and experience

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Build understanding of the barriers for existing nurseries. Expand and put in place training, and other support, within the native nursery sector to alleviate those barriers.
Work alongside key workstreams (Science and Research, Policy, Maori Engagement) to deliver the Native Afforestation Initiative. Focus to support the strategic role that forests will play in meeting New Zealand's climate targets.
- Lead to build understanding of the current barriers for existing nurseries to expand
- Develop mitigations for those barriers.
- Design and deliver approaches to implement the work plan for nursery training and capability.
- Work with nurseries to build support networks.

**You have**:

- Experience as a people leader in the nursery sector or a similar working environment.
- Experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in the successful design and delivery of projects/work programmes
- Understanding of customer research methodologies
- Experience developing products or services that respond to customer pain-points
- Comfort in ambiguity
