**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a capable and efficient Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our Finance team on a part-time (20 hours per week) basis.

Based in our Head Office in Christchurch and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, this position plays a key role in ensuring that financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner to enable payment to be received on time.

**What You'll Do**
- Process customer receipts and allocate to invoices.
- Upload daily bank statements for all accounts.
- Set up new customers in the ERP system.
- Support internal and external customers with any queries.
- Month / year end reconciliations, including following up on unresolved entries.
- General administration support to the wider Finance team.

**What You'll Bring**:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of four years practical accounting experience. In addition, you should have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You should be comfortable dealing with customers in a professional manner on behalf of the company, be familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office packages including excel, and understand accrual accounting and account reconciliation.
