About the opportunity | Ngā whakamārama mō te tūnga
As an Adviser in the Communications and Engagement team, you'll be at the forefront of the Government's transport priorities working across a variety of interesting and fast-moving pieces or work. You'll be part of a Ministry leading outcomes that touch the daily lives of almost every New Zealander in some way. You'll join a truly welcoming and friendly team who will encourage you to develop and grow your skills.
Key responsibilities include.
- Contributing to the development of communications strategies and plans
- Writing and editing content for internal and external communications channels, including digital
- Supporting the development of general communications material, including material for the Ministers' offices
- Working with the team on proactive media activity and responses
- Assisting with planning and delivering internal and external events.


What you'll bring | Te wāhi ki a koe
- Previous central government communications advisory experience
- Experience in developing digital content and use of social media channels
- Demonstrated writing and editing experience along with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.


Salary range | Whānuitanga Utu ā-Tau
The base salary budget for this position is $79,078 - $100,420 per annum (+KiwiSaver). The salary offered will be based on your skills and experience.
