**Your new company**

This national organisation oversees and promotes a thrilling and rewarding sport for many people in the country and is responsible for ensuring that it is run in a fair and ethical way, by enforcing the rules and regulations and managing the events. There are six venues where the events take place, four in the North Island and two in the South Island.

**Your new role**
- Maintain and develop digital communication platforms
- Execute and develop digital marketing strategies and activities
- Plan and manage online advertising campaigns, such as Google Ads and Facebook ads
- Manage digital media such as photos and videos
- Create and assist with internal and external communications
- Support stakeholder engagement activities and events
- Lead and assist with general marketing campaigns

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Communication skills: You need to be able to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, with different types of audiences and stakeholders. You also need to be able to listen actively and empathise with your customers’ needs and preferences. Communication skills include the ability to use professional language, positive body language, personalisation, transparency, and honesty.
- Creative thinking: You need to be able to come up with original and innovative ideas for content, campaigns, and strategies that can capture the attention and interest of your audience. You also need to be able to adapt and pivot from your script when needed, depending on the feedback and reactions you receive.
- Data analysis: You need to be able to collect, interpret, and use data from various sources, such as web analytics, social media, and customer feedback, to measure the performance and impact of your marketing efforts. You also need to be able to use data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and to optimise your marketing decisions.
