We are seeking an organised and efficient Care Capability Specialist to join our Clinical Operations Team.

The Care Capability Specialist plays a pivotal role in project managing and coordinating the delivery of the Summerset clinical learning and development initiatives and programmes for the various groups of staff and healthcare professionals who deliver care to residents.

**About our role**:
Reporting to the Clinical Improvement Manager this role would be based out of our Christchurch office working Monday - Friday.

This role is essential in driving a positive culture of ongoing learning and development, grounded in current evidence and best practices. The role involves fostering strong collaborative relationships to build a competent, diverse & empowered clinical workforce.

**Key focus areas include**:

- Support the Clinical Improvement Manager and the wider Clinical Leadership Team with prioritisation of learning initiatives and programmes as required
- Lead the development and implementation of business plan initiatives as required
- Ensure business plan initiatives and required actions are being monitored to achieve consistency across the regions
- Champion the development and implementation of clinical and care related leadership programmes to enhance skills and support career pathways
- Manage and monitor implementation and compliance with the care centres and villages

**About you**

You will bring a proactive, confident, and passionate personality with an innate ability to work with people and influence people positively.

To be considered suitable for this roe you will also possess the following:

- Proven experience in end-to-end project and change management and the facilitation of projects
- Current Nursing APC and strong knowledge of Te Whatu Ora standards
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to successfully engage and ensure the participation and support of business stakeholders
- Sound problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
