We’re looking for someone who
- Can fulfil a specialist projects oversight and advisory role. The role of the Principal Advisor is to assist the Director to lead strategic initiatives, represent the directorate on cross organisational initiatives, and drive performance improvement. The role picks up the projects that are challenging and that require a cross directorate approach to scoping, solution finding and delivery. This role provides leadership within the directorate’s leadership team, assists with risk management, problem solving, and supports the development of a robust and high performance team culture founded on organisational values. _
- Drive communications initiatives that build the reputation of the directorate’s contribution to the region’s success
- Develop and oversee project plans relating to the directorates contribution to Council strategic direction
- Lead or contribute to cross directorate projects and collaborations
- Developing and implementing a systematic plan of cross-directorate and cross-organisational communication
This role is fixed term, full time, for 10 months.
