- We are looking for a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker to join our supportive community-based Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) multidisciplinary team servicing the Thames / Coromandel area. The position is based in Thames, but the flexibility of working locally can be considered, depending upon patient/service need, and resource availability.

**Mō tō mātou rōpū | About our team**
- MHSOP provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation interventions for older adults (over-65) experiencing recent onset functional mental ill health and/or behavioural and psychological symptoms secondary to degenerative neurocognitive conditions, primarily dementia. We also see older adults with complex clinical presentations where specialist assessment is indicated within our scope. We work closely with geriatric medicine and other mental health services across the district. You will be joining an experienced specialist team who are passionate about improving health outcomes and promoting the quality of life of people referred to our service. MHSOP has its main office in the OPR building, Pembroke Street, Waikato Hospital, Hamilton.
