An exciting role focusing on Inventory Control to manage stock control, ordering, forecasting raw material procurement and work order control. With the goal of providing a smooth seamless process.

As well as being experienced in Inventory Control, you will be charged with driving continuous improvement.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a unique opportunity, reporting directly to a General Manager - Supply Chain.
- Manage stock ordering over a range of product lines.
- Manage the stock levels of the procured and manufactured lines to meet the budgeted stock turn.
- Load stock requirements using the supply chain planning software (Netstock) and MYOB EXO ERP system.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Place purchase orders for manufacturing raw materials with international suppliers.
- Manage stock transfers from with NZ branches and production of export orders.
- Generate reports, including, stock demand, forecasting etc.
- Manage reporting of KPI’s relative to the stock management strategy.
- Analyse and resolve problems in the supply chain with a focus on constant improvements.
- Analyse all data to keep the production line and factory moving and to assist the Planner by having all raw materials to hand.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Commercial aptitude.
- Collaborative approach and able to easily form relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Friendly and approachable with clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoys an office-based role, but also constantly liaise with internal stakeholders in supply chain, sales, customer services and manufacturing floor.
- Attend and add value to regular supply-chain meetings.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High numeracy aptitude. Able to draw accurate conclusions from data.
- Expert level on Excel and ERP systems. Able to learn new software quickly.
