GHD Advisory continues to expand market presence across New Zealand. In support of this growth, we have openings in our Infrastructure Investment & Economics team. The group helps businesses and government departments successfully secure funding for infrastructure projects in the transport, property and buildings, water, energy, resource, and tourism sectors.

We are looking for Infrastructure Investment & Economics Advisors in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to work on New Zealand infrastructure projects and drive the country’s economic recovery. We seek Advisors who can combine their business acumen, strategic, technical and/or operational experience to deliver client outcomes in a consulting environment.

**You may bring any or all of the following to the table with your mix of strategic and/or technical engineering, policy or business acumen**:

- Preparation of concise, accurate and focused written analysis, recommendations and presentations Research, data analysis and interpretation experience
- Developing strategy, policy, and commercial advisory service offerings
- Preparation of, or contributions to the development of business cases
- Operational experience within infrastructure sectors such as transport, water, property and buildings, energy, resource or tourism
- Experience helping to prepare bids and proposals
- Building effective relationships
- Problem solving through development of a proactive, solutions driven approach
- Participating in diverse technical teams
- Undertaking financial and economic analysis
- Advising on the development of policy, procurement strategies, tender documentation, tender evaluation and/ or providing contract negotiation support
- Ability to provide sound documentation and justification for decision making
- Developing well-presented findings and reports
- Workshop planning or facilitation

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 2 to 5 years industry experience in a recognised consulting, strategy, corporate, policy or economics environment
- Degree qualification in Engineering or Commerce or related discipline
- Industry experience in a recognised contracting or consulting environment OR equivalent client side (Central or Local Government) industry experience (both an advantage)
- Wide sector, infrastructure industry experience preferred (but not required)
- Good problem solving and decision making
- Proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to combine business, operational, commercial, and strategy concepts to meet client needs
