**Your Role**: As our Community-led Recovery Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling communities to bounce back stronger than ever. From offering expert advice to fostering collaboration, your work will make a real difference in the lives of Aucklanders.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Serving as a trusted resource for resident groups and community stakeholders.
- Providing specialist advice to enable communities to take charge of their recovery.
- Equipping communities with the tools and resources they need for self-advocacy.
- Supporting community-led programs for recovery and resilience.
- Facilitating collaboration and conflict resolution within communities.
- Identifying opportunities for growth and connection within neighborhoods.
- Working closely with council and partners to ensure seamless delivery of support.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in local government, central government, or the nonprofit sector.
- Familiarity with community engagement and diverse communities.
- Proven track record in facilitation, relationship building, and problem-solving.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in social practice, public policy or emergency management.
- Driver’s license and flexibility to attend community events outside traditional hours.
