**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are seeking a Media Measurement Director to partner with our Television Broadcaster Clients and deliver market-leading client service support for linear TV and streaming measurement. You will be also driving new business opportunities among our existing and new clients If you are a consultative thinker, you look at things strategically, and you thrive on building external and internal relationships, this position is for you.
- ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need to develop a strategy that enhances existing client relationships and actively support client requirements across the media industry, especially with a focus on the Television Broadcasters for both linear TV and streaming measurement.
- You will identify growth opportunities with existing and new client groups.
- Your team will be managing relationships with a range of media clients including Broadcasters, and Publishers.
- This role requires the ability to support the design of new business opportunities within and outside of the existing Nielsen media measurement portfolio.
- In this role, you’ll make our client’s business challenges your challenges.
- Senior leadership involvement with proposal and pitch development and deliveryYou will be responsible for the overall portfolio strategy, ensuring delivery of actionable insights and excellent client servicing.
- This position will sit on the New Zealand Nielsen Executive Team and be involved in decision making regarding the successful running of our local business.
- QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 7+ years’ experience within a relevant media or measurement based environment, preferably with a Broadcaster background. Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Able to drive effective relationships with key clients and ensure client needs are identified and solutions developed that deliver results
- Able to work with technical stakeholders in order to ensure that client needs are being met
- Proven effectiveness in identifying meaningful insights to assigned clients
- Direct and lead own team to deliver excellent client servicing
- Identify opportunities and work with business development team to facilitate commercial growth
- Full understanding of Nielsen media measurement data services
- Able to oversee delivery, technology and support needs of existing clients
- Passionate about media and working in a data driven environment
- A leader that promotes ongoing growth and development opportunities for own team
- A team player with the ability to enable and encourage others within the team
- Confident, presenting to clients and showcasing your work internally
