What we need?

Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will have a small team of inventory controllers reporting to you and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory for our clients as well as assisting the Site Inventory Manager with BAU responsibilities.

This will be a varied role where you will be responsible for the following:

- Building and maintaining returns processes for the respective customers’ requirements to ensure compliance and to ensure swift processing of all returned stock.
- Minimisation of financial exposure for Linfox Logistics Ltd in relation to lost and damaged inventory.
- Work with various clients and/or site inventory staff to ensure that any returned stock is returned according to guidelines
- Assisting the Inventory team with maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) master data and other associated warehousing processes
- Support the implementation of any new Warehouse Management implementations for new business customers.
- Maintain best practise inventory processes and use of WMS systems across the NZ Linfox sites.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are created, maintained and adapted to ensure compliance and training so they can be followed across all sites.
- Providing leadership and training to the Inventory team to assist in maintaining a skill base to ensure full team compliance.

About you?

You will be a systems and process driven individual with excellent communication skills and can demonstrate the following:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Inventory role ideally within warehouse and distribution industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills - ability to work effectively with and influence others.
- Experience within a major contract and multiple stakeholder environment
- Excellent planning and organization skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of people
- Strong problem-solving skills and process driven
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience primarily in Excel
- Experience in SAP ECC/ERP and SAP EWM
