To help us achieve this goal, we’re seeking an experienced Head of Change Management to lead ANZ New Zealand’s Change Management Practice and ensure ongoing successful change implementation across our organisation.

The Head of Change Management is a key leadership role within the Delivery & Change Centre of Excellence (CoE). This individual will develop ANZ’s Change Management Practice at a time of significant (and exciting) business and organisation transformation. Working closely with senior leaders, project managers and a wide range of stakeholders, the Head of Change Management will develop and implement change management strategies that deliver on ANZ’s strategic objectives. Your primary goal will be to ensure smooth integration of change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximising employee engagement and performance.

Key responsibilities will include.

Lead ANZ’s team of knowledgeable change management professionals to ensure consistent change management practice, minimising risks and optimising outcomes.

Be a change management champion, promoting a culture of change readiness and continuous improvement throughout ANZ.

Provide guidance and support to leaders, project delivery and front-line teams, ensuring that all change is sequenced, and stakeholders are equipped to implement.

Ensure effectiveness of change management activities, through proactive monitoring, adjusting strategies to ensure successful outcomes.

Identify potential risks and barriers to change (both at an individual project and wider portfolio level) and ensure mitigation strategies are in place to address them.

Collaborate with ANZ Group, Business Units, Communications and Capability teams to ensure alignment and consistency in change management efforts.

Stay informed of industry best practices in change management, ensuring the team are supported to develop and grow their capabilities.

**To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring**:
Demonstrated experience in leading Change Management teams in large, complex organisations.

Excellent leadership, communications, and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience in change management principles, methodologies and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships, constructively influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

An ability to demonstrate commercial acumen to make high impact decisions.

Project Management experience and formal Change Management qualifications would be advantageous.
