**Te Mahi - About the job**

The Designer works with colleagues from the Product & Development team to create beautiful, accessible and engaging designs for RNZ’s digital products and content.

You will contribute to projects across the range of design disciplines, including branding and identity, UX and interface design. Your work will be featured across our websites and apps, on third party platforms and within our staff-facing editing and publishing products that power our journalism and content production.

You will work with our existing designers and the wider organisation to create concepts, test and refine them, produce publication or development-ready assets and documentation and collaborate with our content and development teams on their implementation.
- Create distinctive and engaging identities for RNZ content
- Design interfaces for future RNZ products
- Contribute to growing the design practice at RNZ

**Ōu Pūkenga - About you**

You will:

- Have a tertiary design qualification or equivalent experience
- Have experience working in a design agency or internal team in a one or more of the following disciplines: interface design, user experience design, graphic design and/or brand/identity design
- Be proficient with contemporary industry-standard design tools
- Be a good design communicator with good design discipline and practice
