A passionate and customer focussed Product Designer who loves a challenge and wants to work on great stuff everyday. Someone who understands how important making sure looking after your people is and is passionate about creating great experiences and making HR easy. Someone who:
- Loves to get to the heart of the customer need and problem to be solved
- Is a natural communicator and collaborator to make sure a solution balances customer needs, constraints and business requirements
- Uses feedback, research & analysis to develop and refine solutions
- Will challenge assumptions and the status quo to get the best possible outcome.
What does the job involve?
The Product Designer works closely with the Product and Development teams to support the discovery and lead the design of simple and intuitive user experiences for our customers and staff, including:
- Using human centred design principles to define the problem statement and scope potential solutions
- Validating ideas and prototypes, and understanding delivery requirements
- Understanding our different customer needs through testing and research
- Creating design artifacts including user flows, working prototypes, mock-ups, wireframes, design guidelines.
**What you’ll need to bring**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, visual design, technology or a related discipline
- A minimum of five years’ experience in creative or technology industries, preferably with a focus on digital and interactive design
- Knowledge of key experience design principles and processes, for example, journey and process mapping, design thinking and user-centred design
- Strong listening, verbal, written, and presentation skills, especially in storytelling
- A growth mindset, with a strong focus on continuous learning
