Team Administrator for our Kiwibank's Digital & Technology team
- Fantastic opportunity to use your team admin or assistant skills to grow into a PA
- Wellington based role
At Kiwibank we're on a mission, to completely renew and modernise the Digital & Technology landscape at Kiwibank, transforming the experience for our customers, our teams, and how we work. This is one of the biggest and most exciting tech challenges in New Zealand right now - and we would love for you to be part of it
We're looking for a Team Assistant to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) team where you will work closely with Senior Leaders in the Digital and Technology team to support day-to-day operations and ensure they are enabled to continue to perform at a high level.
**What's this role about? He aha te ia o tēnei mahi?**
Reporting to the Executive Assistant for D&T, you will be a core part of the administration and support for the division and support the General Managers in a Team Assistant capacity.
The core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Coordinate general administration tasks across the Digital & Technology team, working closely with the Executive Assistant to the Chief Digital & Technology Officer to ensure the smooth running of the Digital & Technology business unit
- Help to coordinate and manage calendars, acting as appropriate on behalf of the General Managers of Digital & Technology to ensure they're focused on the right things
- Prioritizing leadership's time and effort to ensure their success, proactively making decisions and challenging when needed; keeping them and their teams on task, following up to ensure actions are completed and deadlines met.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction to welcome new people to the team; making sure they have the tools, technology, and access they need to get off to a great start.
- Logistics like managing travel and expenses, juggling busy diaries to bring people together, greeting visitors.
- Any adhoc task to make sure your leaders and teams get the basics right - making sure everything from hiring paperwork to invoices, and budgets to business plans are completed as required.
**What are we looking for? Tā mātou e kimi nei?**
We're looking for someone who has previous experience in a team assistant or coordinator role who would like to gain more skills towards becoming a PA or EA. Ideally you will also:
- Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, able to adapt with ease to changing business and customer needs.
- Be a great team player effective at communicating and building relationships at all levels.
- Be known as someone who's efficient and effective with strong organisational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to assess information and to prioritize work to manage and deliver to competing demands.
- Have experience working with a range of common platforms and systems, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and be able to easily learn and adapt to new software.
This is an exciting journey and an awesome team to work with. If you're a self-starter, ambitious and pragmatic then this is the role for you and has great exposure to PA/EA world.
**Ngā painga mōu - What's in it for you?**
When you join us at Kiwibank, you'll be given the support you need to succeed. Our work environment is safe, accessible, and representative of our customers and communities. We're proud to have the rainbow tick, we are a certified B corporation, and we were the first bank in NZ to get the gender tick. We're also an accredited Living Wage employer.
**At Kiwibank we're all about making Kiwi better off**
As the largest homegrown (and owned) bank in Aotearoa, we strive to create an inclusive culture where everyone - our kiritaki (customers), hapori (communities) and kaimahi (staff) have the opportunity to thrive.
Our culture underpins how we are stronger together, allowing everyone to have a voice, rise to the challenge and make a difference for our customers. This shapes and influences the way we make decisions, how we interact with each other, and ultimately, our drive to get things done.
Applications close **Monday 14 March 9pm** (although we reserve the right to remove the ad at any time).
- Your employment would start with us during a period of community transmission of Covid-19 throughout New Zealand. As a business operating in that environment, we have responsibilities under the Health and Safety Act 2015 to minimise the risk that our workers might catch or transmit Covid-19 while at work._
- Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is therefore a condition of all roles with Kiwibank for any new employee who is able to be vaccinated. Your employment would be conditional on you being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and providing us with evidence of this._
