The PMO Lead is critical to helping us deliver on our purpose. In this role you will be responsible for leading and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, large-scale initiatives and programmes across the business. You will have previous experience running a PMO in a banking or financial services environment and would bring an extensive background in driving transformative change and project delivery at a high level.

Other key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Leading a PMO including setting the tone and pace, and establishing standard structures and approaches for all workstreams.

Understanding business drivers and ensuring comprehensive alignment between business objectives and programme outcomes.

Stakeholder engagement management and ownership of programme communications.

Implementation and operation of fit for purpose governance.

Defining, implementing and managing best practice delivery disciplines and tooling.

Participating in the continuous improvement of project management and change delivery process and practice at ANZ.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
PMO experience in large, complex programmes of work.

Ability to establish credibility and build strong, open and collaborative working relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Outstanding leadership and influencing skills across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in ambiguity and to be able to adapt and flex to respond to changing priorities.

Knowledge of project delivery processes, tools and frameworks.

An ability to be adaptive in a changing environment, with a strong appetite for learning.

Great organisational skills - capable of working as part of a team, and self-managing to deadlines. Able to independently lead forums and events.

Strong business and financial acumen.

Ability to constructively challenge people across the organisation in order to enable change.

Great communicator - both verbally, and in a variety of written documents. Ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
