We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our successful team based in our new state of the art offices located in East Tamaki, Auckland.
- Responsible for providing a professional and accurate assistance for enquires from creditors and branch staff resulting in satisfied customers.
- Follow up supplier and customer issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Set up supplier accounts, capturing required information, in conjunction with Accounts Supervisor and Accountants.
- Prepare periodic account reconciliations and General Ledger controls.
- Ensure all creditors’ statements are reconciled monthly addressing outstanding invoices and investigating credit balances resulting in a completed reconciliation by month end.
- Prepare weekly payment runs, prompt runs, and input to weekly cash flow forecasting.

In this role you will gain experience across a full spectrum of accounts payable duties, working alongside an experienced team that supports each other.
**Qualifications** About you**
- Minimum 3+ year’s experience working in a similar role with the sound financial numeracy and literacy skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- You’re a team player; a self-starter who is not afraid to come up with initiatives; be proactive and motivated.
- Confident and professional interpersonal skills will come naturally to you to deal with a range of stakeholders in and out of the office.
- You are a good communicator and build great customer service relationships to help our team with internal and external customer inquiries and service requests.
