A G Hoffman Limited is a well-established family business that has been in operation for over 60 years servicing the Southland and Otago regions.
We are a strong, reputable business with permanent bases located in Invercargill and Cromwell and we offer a broad range of services across residential, commercial, industrial and civil construction.
We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager who will be based in the Invercargill office.

**Position purpose**
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis and to provide ongoing support to management. This role also calls for superior communication skills in
order to effectively maintain relationships with internal and external
stakeholders.
**Main tasks**
**Core objectives include**:
- Payroll including payment of fortnightly wages, uploading of all relevant documents to IRD, payment of monthly DED to IRD via their website.
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Responsible for all matters relating to Human Resources, including wellness checks and organising pre-employment medicals and drug testing for new employees.
- To assist the Manager with the overall responsibility of our health and safety management system.
- Preparation and payment of 2 monthly GST and all other tax to the IRD.
- Provide ongoing support to management on a daily basis
- Project administration which ensures achievement of business objectives.
- Job costing management
- To promote and drive a culture of high standards, professionalism and principles.
- To promote and drive a culture that ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of employees.
- Various duties will include office management, timesheet data entry, count and telephone calls, record keeping, health and safety and training and professional development.
