**What do our Graduate GIS Analysts do?**

Day to day tasks may include:

- Assist in creating mapping exhibits/deliverables on assigned projects
- Utilising GIS platform and software programs to complete assigned tasks
- Assist in developing and creating GIS solutions to aide stakeholders, clients, and other users in understanding the relationships, patterns and trends of geospatial information
- Work with areas of Stantec's Enterprise Licence, e.g. within Portal and ArcGIS Online

**What you will bring**

We are looking for a fresh graduate or young GIS professional with less than two years industry experience who will be responsible for providing GIS services to external and/or internal clients in a shared services environment.

Additional attributes that may help you succeed in the role:

- A recent graduate (or soon to graduate) in GIS, Geology, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to understand problems and develop creative solutions
- Competent in relevant technical fields, including use of software and computer systems
- A real interest in developing automated systems

To be eligible to apply, you must:

- Be a recent graduate or due to complete your tertiary education in 2024
- Preferably hold a valid restricted or full Driving Licence
- Working Rights in New Zealand (Student Visa holder, convertible to post study open work visa, Permanent Resident OR Citizen)
