He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
A kahui ako is also known as a Community of Learning (COL) or a cluster of schools usually in a geographical area.
This role will work with the Putauaki ki Rangitaiki Whanui Kāhui Ako within its Learning Support Delivery model to ensure that tamariki with mental health and wellbeing needs are identified, and interventions are put into place to support their emotional and mental health resilience from a whanau perspective.
So, if you are passionate about providing mental health early intervention and prevention to tamariki in Years 1-8 within the Putauaki ki Rangitaiki Whanui Kāhui Ako (cluster of schools), and you are innovative and creative and comfortable with working primarily in a schools-based setting then we want to hear from you.
This is a permanent, 1.0FTE position, working 40 hours per week but a job share may be considered.

The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications and experience as either a Registered Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Registered Counsellor.
