Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.

**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We are looking for Registered Health Professionals to join our dynamic, innovative, and friendly Mental Health and Addiction team in Whakatāne. This is a diverse team of Health Professionals including Nurse Practitioners, Consultants, Registrars, Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who are focused on the delivery of high-quality care to the growing population in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

We are currently recruiting the following professionals into our Mental Health Community Team, Crisis Team, Child and Adolescent team and Inpatient Wards.
- Clinical Psychologists
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
- Registered Nurses
- Health Care Assistants
- Consultant Psychiatrists

We are looking for team players who are positive, passionate and are committed to excellence with a vision of moving the service forward.

To be successful in one of these roles you will have:

- Registration with a current practising certificate
- At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting
- A passion and a drive to make a real difference through your work and have a strong cultural awareness.
- Desire for continued learning
- Flexibility to work both within a team and autonomously.
