Our Wellington team is seeking a Payroll Administrator who can inspire trust and confidence across a professional services group through their keen attention for detail and excellent administrative capabilities. This role requires a customer-focused professional with a track record of payroll processing, preferably in a large organisation.

A solution focused mindset while being calm and approachable is key to being successful in this role.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Perform duties necessary for the accurate calculation of wages, maintenance of records and distribution of payroll reports including peer reviews
- Verify the accuracy of all timesheet entries (check what hours staff have worked, and what leave they have taken)
- Ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
- Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain up-to-date payroll information

- Business Administration (or equivalent) tertiary qualification
- 3+ years payroll experience in a large organisation
- Microsoft Office 365 (certified or highly proficient)
- iPayroll (or similar) payroll system experience
- Thorough knowledge of the NZ Holidays Act 2003
