Auckland City, New Zealand AIA Full time

Responsible for creating compelling visual designs that align to AIA design language and maintains design consistency across all products and services.

The opportunity:
You will be responsible for designing AIA’s digital experience, ensuring that we are developing solutions that guarantee the customers' experience is fluid and intuitive, resulting in a best in class experience for every interaction. You will also lead operational initiatives to optimise digital assets, considering business and technical requirements, and delivering to a high quality.

About the role:
- Lead and support the delivery of UX and UI activities across concept and interface design-
- Lead and support user experience work on strategic and innovation projects across web and mobile- Translate concepts into wireframes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences- Responsible for UX flows, User Interface design and UI handover to dev, working with the digital brand guidelines and design system- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces- Provide recommendations of hypotheses that can be tested with respect to customer journey optimisations and work with the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure that results from these hypothesis result in clear recommendations- Contribute to and maintain the Digital Design Language across the AIA portfolio of brands, ensuring alignment to the Brand Standards and digital guidelines- Act as an advocate for user experience across the business, increasing engagement and business understanding of the value and benefits of this function, and effectively communicating research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rational- Work in collaboration across the organisation to develop validated end-to-end customer experiences and support transformational change leading to desired commercial and customer outcomes

About you:
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience- 3-5 years' User Experience / User Interface Designer- Design experience in web (including HTML5 & CSS), tablet and mobile environments required- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be advantageous- Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into visual representations, including, journeys, mockups and detailed designs into UI handover- Experience in managing projects and facilitating cross functional working groups- Able to lead teams (directly or indirectly) to deliver using customer-centric methods in a way that drives sustainable business performance- Knowledge and/or experience with agile techniques and modern digital product development.- Previous experience in financial services or life insurance a bonus
