As the business continues to scale, we're looking for a passionate and opportunistic UX/UI Designer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional digital experiences to our customers. This role will collaborate closely with the customer experience team to help design and support the delivery of a best of breed online insurance experience for our customers that is
simple and easy to understand. You'll get to co-create and develop an amazing user experience and interface across different touchpoints and devices through ideating and prototyping various user journeys within a cross-functional team.
As a UX/UI Designer for Tower, you'll have the opportunity to do something truly meaningful - crafting digital experiences that will transform the essence of online insurance. Being part of the multidisciplinary Tower Design Team of UX, UI and digital marketing designers means you'll be immersed in a strong collaborative design environment with aspirational career development opportunities in a fast-growing company with strong focus on their people development and ambitions to lead change in the digital space.

This role is dedicated to work with an agile squad and reports to the UX/Design Chapter Lead

You can expect to be across the following:

- Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviours, and pain points
- Drive usability testing to pinpoint areas for improvement and validate design decisions
- Iteratively refine designs based on user feedback, customer data, business metrics and design thinking principles
- Conceptualise and design user journeys and experiences from sketches, wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes
- Craft intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that align with our brand guidelines
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and SMEs (e.g. Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Engineers and Customer Service Consultants) to ensure accurate design implementation and holistic customer experiences
- Advocate, advise and implement design standards, system thinking, guidelines, and UX/UI design best-practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and practices to ensure our designs are progressive, innovative and competitive
- Showcase design concepts and rationale to senior leadership/stakeholders that can help influence outcomes effectively

**What you'll need**

You have a minimum of 4-5 years of UX/UI experience in complex digital environments. Strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and methodologies, an advocate for users that have great people and communication skills to bridge users and design with cross-functional teams. Being able to think creatively and strategically to find solutions is a must, and most importantly we are looking for someone who is energised and motivated by great design. You'll have an eye not only for fresh and contemporary aesthetics but also for thoughtful UX/UI design principles.
