The Parliamentary Catering Team is dedicated to showcasing New Zealand's premium hospitality services & products; and delivering memorable experiences at Parliament. The team manages a number of food and beverage venues within the Parliamentary precinct; each offering a different and unique experience; these include the Copperfields café, Pickwick's bar, and New Zealand's fine dining cuisine restaurant - Bellamys by Logan Brown. A further function of the team is providing catering and hospitality services for the numerous functions that are held on the Parliamentary precinct.

Bellamys by Logan Brown promises not only a unique setting on the third floor of Parliament, but is a totally quintessential New Zealand fine dining experience in Wellington

The Restaurant Manager oversees the front of house food and beverage operations and supervision of staff for Bellamys by Logan Brown. In this role, delivering an excellent fine dining experience is enabled through your effective hospitality leadership and expertise to motivate, train, and drive the front of house team to delight customers to experience the "buzz and spirit of hospitality" by bringing them a taste of what New Zealand's best cuisine has to offer, through a service that is second to none

In this role, we need that exceptional person to hit the ground running. No two days are alike however here's a couple of other things you'll get involved with:

- Oversee the food & beverage service operations at Bellamys by Logan Brown
- Motivate, train, and drive the food and beverage service team to deliver knowledgeable and exceptional dining experiences every time with passion
- Ensure all staff follow Parliamentary Service's policies, procedures, practices, service, and operational standards
- Ensure compliance to food hygiene & safety and other legislative requirements such as Responsible Service of Alcohol, are always upheld
- Active member of the Parliamentary Catering leadership team contributing to the strategic and operational direction of the unit in achieving its deliverables and goals
- Nurture and build collaborative relationships with customers and key stakeholders to increase loyalty, whilst also promoting & maintaining our premium Bellamys by Logan Brown icon brand
- Manage operating costs (labour cost ratios) and revenue generating initiatives to maximise food and beverage revenue generated at Bellamys by Logan Brown
- Co-develop and drive key marketing and promotional activities and campaigns via different mediums/channels and in house promotions
- Ensure front of house presentation and standards consistently reflects why Bellamys by Logan Brown is a world class exclusive dining experience

The appointing salary range for this role is $64,598 to $71,322 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
