The Manager, International Banks, Transaction Banking position is critical to making this happen by actively managing and increasing the ‘Banks’ segment of ANZ’s Institutional Banking portfolio.

You will also be responsible for the retention and growth of a key set of Bank customers located throughout the world, where proactive account management is required.

Whilst based in New Zealand you will work with a global team from across ANZ Group to deliver these outcomes.

**Other key responsibilities in your role will include**:
Actively procuring and pursuing Transaction Banking business, in conjunction with our Relationship Management teams, as appropriate
Participate in the development of the Institutional Banking strategy and help its achievement by ensuring all targets are met across your portfolio
Develop and implement individual customer account strategies, that support positive outcomes for both the bank and client
Build and maintain effective working relationships with third party providers, to ensure that they deliver the best solutions for our clients
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant Transaction Banking products, in order to offer the best solutions for customers

To grow and be successful in the role you will ideally have, or aspire to have, the following:
Sound interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills with a track record of positively influencing outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven attention to detail
Experience with sales techniques, such as lead generation and closing
An understanding of the financial market/industry and its competitor activity, desirable but not required
