Maintenance Planner with Sidewall

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the scaffolding storage and distribution plant, repair and maintenance shop, machinery and transportation fleet, and all scaffolding equipment and accessories; Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure equipment safety and longevity; Work with the operations team to plan maintenance schedules that minimize disruptions to project schedules; Maintain detailed maintenance records, files, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.

Review project requirements, estimate the required amounts of scaffolding gear, and coordinate the allocation of scaffolding materials to job sites according to client needs and timelines; Manage the scheduling of equipment deliveries and pickups, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and minimizing equipment downtime; Liaise with project managers and site supervisors to anticipate and address equipment needs proactively; Adjust schedules to account for unplanned work and urgent variations; Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and external vendors/suppliers; Implement procedures and manuals for tracking and monitoring equipment usage, ensuring timely return and availability for future projects.

Oversee the organization and layout of the scaffolding equipment yard for efficient storage, retrieval, and inventory management; Implement systems and procedures for tracking and controlling the movement of scaffolding materials in and out of the yard; Ensure the proper handling, loading, and unloading of scaffolding components to prevent damage; Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical counts to reconcile discrepancies.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, logistics, etc)
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience;
- Knowledge of scaffolding equipment (Layher / Ringlock), materials, and safety regulations is preferred;
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and scheduling software, experience with LayPlan Material Manager is beneficial;
- Strong computer and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills, experience with CAD systems is a plus;
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with cross-functional teams;
- Familiarity with basic maintenance procedures and ability to interpret technical manuals;
- Valid forklift operators license or willingness to obtain one.

**Work details**:

- We have one permanent position available in Auckland
- Work Monday to Friday, within working hours 11 am - 6 pm
- Guaranteed 30 hours per week; maximum 40 hours per week
- Competitive remuneration: $30 - $32 per hour (depending on the qualification and work experience)
