The Financial Management Unit operates as a Shared Services to other groups and units within the Council and this role will work within a team responsible for managing and processing all the Council's receivables and transactional banking activities.

**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

As a Receivables and Banking Officer you are responsible for collecting all the Council's accounts/debts (except rates) using specific systems. You will ensure that as far as possible, all accounts are collected efficiently, cost effectively and in a fair and professional manner. Your responsibilities include:

- Reconciliations.
- Banking and cash receipting.
- Debt management and reporting.
- Monitoring, investigating, and reporting areas of concern.
- Using information systems such as SAP, IntelliLeisure, PerfectGym, Optimo, Connect and MYOB.
