Our
**Mico Henderson** store is a busy commercial branch, with a beautiful showroom while also providing trade solutions to a loyal trade customer base, including home builders and the local business sector.

**Mico New Zealand** is a top supplier of plumbing and bathroom products to the trade, retail and commercial sectors, with 69 branches and around 550 employees throughout New Zealand.

**The role**

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this pivotal role plays an integral part in maximising sales opportunities, exceeding monthly targets and building long-term customer relationships.

You will be assigned your own customer base and then be responsible for building relationships and liaising with them on a regular basis. Key to the role will be understanding their needs and providing professional solutions, ordering products to specific time frames for their projects and communicating delivery times and availability of products where required. A lot of scheduling and pulling together of information is required and this role is akin to a project management-style role.

You will be juggling a number of tasks at any one time, along with problem solving, whilst ensuring everything operates smoothly and efficiently. To do this, you will need to think quickly on your feet, be extremely well organised and able to prioritise, be service-driven and solution-oriented. Your communication and time management skills and collaborative style with be paramount and, above all, customer service expertise will be paramount.

While most of your role will be supporting the Key Accounts, the nature of working in a small team means you may also be needed to assist filling in here or there on the odd occasion, such as with Counter Sales. You’ll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the chance to progress in the branch, the business and the organisation.

This is a permanent, full time role, working Monday to Friday (some flexibility for start times), with rostered Saturday mornings.

**About you**

To shine in this role, you’ll bring an enthusiastic customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength and you’ll be IT savvy too. Trade industry/plumbing knowledge and/or product experience would be hugely beneficial, but your attitude, interpersonal and organisational skills, strong character and resilience is what really matters

You will be a cheerful, engaging and adaptable team player, able to build rapport and effectively communicate and connect with people at all levels, whilst being customer-centric and an awesome team player.
