About the role

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who will create advocates in the NZ marketplace for the MRI brand by selling our products and services and reducing the attrition rate of existing customers. You will achieve this through open and regular client/prospect communication while driving incremental whitespace revenue into existing customer accounts through new feature uptake, partner integrations, and innovative opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to expand MRI's footprint to new and existing clients by employing a consultative sales and account management approach.

As an MRI Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Acting as a "solutions expert" in helping customers with their unique business requirements and strategic initiatives
- Conducting client presentations, meetings, product demonstrations and promoting MRI at industry conferences and trade shows.
- Driving and managing the sales process - targeting net new and whitespace opportunities, identifying client solutions, building, and maintaining customer relationships, supporting/scheduling software demonstrations, negotiating and administrating opportunities within the NZ assigned accounts.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients through online and face-to-face interaction.
- Design account strategies and work with sales leadership & marketing to achieve short and long-term goals for targeted clients
- Conduct 'outbound' call campaigns to drive business or company-related initiatives
- Exceed assigned annual sales/retention quotas and Client NPS scores
- Understand MRI's positioning in the market and be well-versed in product differentiators and specific product strengths
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Experience
- 5-7 years of strategic sales/account management experience in the software industry
- Experience working within the New Zealand Real Estate environment
- Palace and PropertySuits solutions is required
- Demonstrated track record in adding value through client relationships to increase client revenue over a sustained period, exceeding sales targets with the ability to work with the key stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in presenting to clients/prospects
- Good understanding of technology and ability to absorb new systems and processes
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or experience of a similar nature
- SalesForce CRM experience preferred
