As the Information & Records Management Advisor you will provide recordkeeping and information management advice and support to all staff and work on initiatives and activities aimed at increasing organisational information management maturity. The role also includes information systems administration, user support and training.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least five years experience in records and information management, ideally within local or central government
- Working knowledge of the Public Records Act 2005
- Experience with administering electronic document and records management systems
- Experience with M365, including Teams
- Solid understanding of technology platforms and the ability to facilitate continuous improvement
- Experience supporting change and influencing people to adopt new ways of working
- A positive attitude with a willingness to deliver results for team success
- Outstanding communication skills with experience in training others

- Salary_ - $61,283 - $83,271 per annum
- Location_ - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street, Christchurch
Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, applicants need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, roles across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
