**Background**:
***Groupm NZ is looking to create a specialized investment division within the organization that works seamlessly with the other specialist verticals. The primary responsibility of the unit is to be accountable for every dollar spent by every customer across all media channels from implementational planning and execution through ensuring correct billing and media owner payment.

The AID reports to the Group Investment Director across a specific customer allocated unit. The aim of each unit is to create immediate to long term investment strategies and tactics that provide GroupM’s customers market leading, highest value solutions and innovations to drive their expected outcomes. The investment performances are then reported back to customers in terms of consumer delivery, holistically and by channel, and most importantly how they drove customer outcomes to constantly refine and optimize future customer investment decisions.

Whilst each team is responsible for the development and accountability of its personnel, working in an entrepreneurial culture also means it is also up to the individual to take responsibility for their own development.

Every member of the investment team will be perpetually supported in all aspects of their career development in terms of training and coaching, individually and collectively.

**Key purpose of the Associate Investment Director role**

The Associate Investment Director leads a team of specialists that creates immediate to long term investment strategies that provide Mindshare’s clients market leading, high value solutions and innovations that drive their expected outcomes. The investment performances are then reported back to clients in terms of delivery, holistically and by channel. Most importantly the AID needs to demonstrate how they drove market leading client outcomes.

As an Associate Investment Director, you are the responsible for the overall delivery of high-quality Investment plans, ensuring the Investment Team are using data, technology and tools to deliver best in class media systems. You must have a voice, confidence and be capable to lead complex conversations both internally and externally with clients and global partners. You are responsible for negotiating to a high degree of outcome delivery and managing the efficient workflow of the team.

**Skill Requirement**
- 6+ years in media and negotiation-based roles
- Has a voice, is confident to lead conversations with both clients and internal teams
- Must have experience in and be confident to present to clients and the agency
- Can lead the operations of a team
- Highly numerate and organised with an ability to demonstrate implementation and trading skills both internally and to clients
- Strong communication (written and verbal)
