Mō te tūnga | About the role
The HR Advisor - Employment and Industrial Relations (E&IR) will provide sound advice and support to our people leaders on all aspects of people management in accordance with best practice and relevant NZ legislation. The role will support the development of the people leaders in coaching them towards self-sufficiency in people management.
The key focus of the HR Advisor -E&IR Advisor is to provide system, processes and HR information to enable delivery of work, and supporting the Employment and Industrial Relations team with work programmes and initiatives.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

**Some key requirements of the role include but not limited to**:

- A qualification in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience is required
- Previous experience in HR, or related field at an advisory level
- Experience of being adept at managing multiple and prioritizing the demands of a diverse range of stakeholders
- Detailed knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices and can relate this to an organisational context.
- Sound judgement and uses approaches that are appropriate for the situation
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Annual remuneration for this band 15 position starts between $73,192 and $81,324 dependant on experience.
