**Mō te tūnga - About the role**:
We're an HR Advisory team working at the heart of democracy to provide trusted advice to our 900 staff members. As our Senior HR Advisor, you'll be a true generalist working across our diverse and highly interesting organisation which includes New Zealand's Political Party Offices, support staff for Members of Parliament, and The Office of the Clerk. You'll take on exciting and challenging work that will allow you to develop and grow in your own experience and career. As we move to a true partnering model you will have the chance to deliver on people projects that are normally in the Organisational Design space in larger organisations, and you will have a business improvement focus as well. Plus, you will be working with another Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, two Coordinators, and Business Partners - and together you will be part of our supportive, fun, and high-performing team making an impact for our people.

**Tō kete - What you will bring to the role**:
Naturally, you'll have proven experience in HR at a senior advisory level, significant generalist knowledge, and demonstrated success in building the capability of others. Your excellent people and communication skills, and strong customer focus, will enable you to effectively influence others and outcomes. You'll thrive on working collaboratively, supporting a 'one team' approach, and consistently adding value.
You'll be highly motivated by the opportunity to build organisational capability and deliver exceptional HR services to our people. You'll be flexible and adaptable, providing advice, guidance, and expertise across the Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk according to stakeholder needs, HR and organisational priorities. You'll do what you say you will and have fantastic planning and prioritisation skills to meet your commitments in a busy environment.
You'll be a values-based person, who always displays whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, collaboration, and innovation in all your mahi and how you go about it.

The appointing salary range for this role is $100,847 to $111,343 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
