**ABOUT US**

Active Building Management is an established building and facility management company providing residential and commercial building and facility management services and solutions in the greater Auckland area. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to become part of our experienced team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Building Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of buildings. This is a full-time permanent role.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Undertaking full day-to-day building facilities management services, including building audits, contractor management, contracts management, planned preventative maintenance (LTMP), and reactive maintenance requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with the relevant workplace health and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with body corporate rules, regulations and standards.
- Ongoing management of the Long Term Maintenance Plan.
- Management of the annual building warrant of fitness (BWOF) process with the contracted service provider.
- Conduct regular inspections with qualified contractors to monitor the condition of all portfolio assets: buildings structure, plant and equipment.
- Assist the owners committee with the management of annual operating expenditure budgets.
- Providing a comprehensive report to the owners committee on a monthly basis.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Building Facilities Manager.
- Experience with Health and Safety Management.
- Project Management experience.
- Extensive contract and contractor management experience is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication sills.
- Leadership skills are preferred.
- New Zealand property industry experience preferred.
- Full & Clean NZ Drivers License.
