As Junior Maintenance Technician you will work as part of our team at Auckland International Airport to manage the operations and maintenance of the baggage system. You will have a proactive approach to work and enjoy a fast paced working environment. On the job training will be provided so that you are equipped to do your job to the best of your ability.
- **Daily Maintenance**:You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment through preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance, keeping everything running smoothly.
- **Tools and Materials Caretaker**: Maintain our tools and materials, ensuring they're in great working condition and ready for use whenever necessary.
- **Knowledge Sharing Champion**: Guide our staff and stakeholders on our system, sharing insights and expertise to enhance the team's collective understanding.
- **Responding with Precision**: Handle emergency tasks swiftly and effectively, showcasing your ability to stay composed and take decisive action when needed.

**Skills and Experience
**To succeed in this role you should bring the following skills, experience and attributes, along with the right to work in New Zealand:

- Demonstrate work ethic and time management skills
- Understanding and experience in basic computer skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Experience with maintenance of equipment.
- Previous experience with the mechanical aspects of a conveyor system or other similar equipment would be beneficial

**Shift work is a requirement in this role, so you must be comfortable and able to work on a rotating 24/7 shift roster.
