**About the role**

As an SAP Basis Consultant working within the SAP Centre of Excellence (COE), you’ll be accountable for supporting and enhancing the SAP product platform within Foodstuffs North Island and be part of a senior inhouse Basis team using the latest technologies and methods to build an effective SAP Retail landscape that underpins the core of our business.

Responsibilities will include:

- Providing a “best in class” SAP BASIS support function to ensure the timely resolution of operational issues.
- Developing and implementing technical solutions to ensure an efficient, stable and cost-effective SAP landscape for FSNI.
- Actively contributing to the development, documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and the operational excellence of FSNI’s SAP Technology stack.
- Manage changes from BAU & associated projects through all SAP Environments in accordance with FSNI change control procedures.
- Resolution of technical and functional production incidents as they arise, ensuring proper incident and problem management governance.

**About you**

You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about SAP solutions that solve business problems, with strong technical skills and a passion for learning. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with an Agile mindset for this complex environment. With drive and curiosity, you’ll also have a solid base of experience in SAP BASIS and a track record of taking on complex problems and delivering great solutions.

You will also need:

- Over 2 years of hands-on SAP Basis experience and either achieved or be working toward certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ABAP & JAVA Technology stacks and an understanding of the best practices related to management of all aspects of the solution.
- Basic understanding SAP HANA Databases and SAP System Patching.
- Experience in both Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- SAP Solution Manager experience including the ongoing monitoring of the SAP Landscape.
- Experience with Front-End technologies for Fiori, NWBC.
