BRP are seeking a District Sales Manager preferably based in Auckland/North Island. The District Sales Manager will be performed in ways that benefit all the company's key stakeholders (groups directly affected by success or failure of business) consistent with and supportive of BRP's vision, mission and values.

**YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
1. Achieve the wholesale, retail unit and PA&A (Parts, Accessories & Apparel) sales targets (in value) for the responsible dealerships, maximizing BRP's business opportunities and contributing to the long-term business success.

Ensure that BRP product sales targets and PA&A sales targets (in value) are achieved
Demonstrate a business partner approach to support execution and long-term success
Understand the dealer’s key business drivers and actively contribute to the development of a commercial business plan to deliver wholesale/retail targets & maximize market opportunities
Provide support to the network in terms of commercial & promotional activities for Can-Am, Sea-Doo (PWC), and Ski-Doo (SNOW).

**Leverage the available tools to monitor progress, including**:
Sales Tracker & Reports

Inventory Reports

Market Share Reports

Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of competitors, effectively communicating competitive activity.
Maintain a close liaison and working relationship with other members in the organisation as appropriate to ensure achievement of company budgets, i.e.Senior Management Team, Operations team, After Sales team, Accounts Department, etc.

2. Leverage the BRP Dealer Certification Program to maximize dealer network engagement & profitability

Achieve a minimum expected level of dealer network certification, with a mix of Platinum / Gold / Silver dealers
Leverage the program’s criteria to elevate the network standards of both Certified & Uncertified dealers
Assist dealer network to meet all deadlines, as stated in the BRP Dealer Certification Guide

3. Define and Consistently Implement a Personal Development Plan

Consistently strive toward achieving your personal development goal
Actively participate in the SalesForce2020 Training program
Actively participate in all meetings and assist the Region Team in achieving its most critical & urgent opportunity for improvements

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
University degree or equivalent commercial qualification

Based in North Island or Auckland location preferred.

Experience working with a dealer & distributor network

Experience in the powersports or motorized vehicle industry would be advantageous

Proven track record of successfully delivering results in a fast paced and high growth environment.

Strong computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Google Sheets)

Irreproachable work ethics & integrity

Business acumen, results oriented and a strong drive to achieve

Solution oriented, demonstrates initiative, agility & flexibility

Strong intrinsic motivation and ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team.

Communicative personality with strong relationship building abilities

Strong negotiation skills, ability to handle difficult discussions with dealers

Excellent customer orientation, influencing & presentation skills

Analytical & reporting skills and rigor
