This successful New Zealand owned company trades industrial food and beverage products into local and international markets.
Based in central Auckland this is an outstanding career opportunity get a foot in the door working alongside the fast-paced sales team.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and curious minded person to join their high performing team in a Customer Service/Office Administrator role.
**The Role**:
This is a pivotal role delivering customer order management logistics for the sales and marketing team as well as general reception and office duties.
Customer service is at the forefront of every aspect of this position and an engaging and bubbly personality will provide you with the natural flair to succeed.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity to learn alongside the busy sales team and full training will be provided.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
- Order processing and management
- Arranging warehouse stock releases and local transport
- Liaising with stakeholders including transport companies, warehouses, and customers to ensure delivery requirements are met
- Checking, requesting, and processing documentation
- Monitoring local deliveries and keeping customers updated
- Sample dispatch and record keeping
- Attending meetings and assisting with managing service provider relationships
- Providing sales support to the sales team and other teams as required
- Database management
- General reception duties
- Co-ordinating meetings, functions, and catering.
**Your Background**:
- Proactive with exceptional customer service skills
- IT savvy and competent across the MS Office suite
- Accurate with extraordinary attention to detail
- Highly organised and a fast learner
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and varying work demands
- Background in logistics, supply chain, customer service or sales support.
