It is an exciting time to join MAS, as we move through a number of organisational transformations. As part of this, we have a great new opportunity for an experienced senior professional to take up the reigns as our new Head of Private Wealth
This is a pivotal role with a focus on establishing a new vertical business practice at a national level, that is aligned to our existing and future high-net-worth Members and their investment needs, as well as considering MAS's insurance product offerings.
As the Head of Private Wealth, you will work closely with the Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer, as well as leaders in the Distribution, Marketing, and Product teams to build on the great achievements we have put in place to date for our Members.
**The key objectives for this role include**:
- Develop and implement a private wealth strategic plan and build a deep understanding of the industry and the products MAS offers.
- Create and execute a compelling new Member value proposition for high-net worth Members and prospective Members.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to expand brand awareness and growth opportunities.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Private Wealth Advisors.
- Establish best practice standards for high-quality services to existing and prospective Members which includes meeting with high-net-worth Members, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of acquisition and growth initiatives.
- Utilise existing channels and leverage our strong relationships with current Members to develop innovative channel solutions.

**He kōrero mōu | Key skills & experience we are looking for**:
- Experience establishing and building a wealth-based practice (at a regional or national level) and team, or components of one from multiple role experience.
- Solid senior financial services / insurance / private wealth-based retail distribution experience at a senior manager, head of or above level.
- Passion and drive and a proven track record in driving significant growth.
- Sound understanding of in-market insurance and investment products.
- A champion of best practice standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Sound experience from collaborating with marketing and product teams to get the best results for the business and investors
- A motivational leader that enjoys coaching a team, presenting and being in front of existing and prospective Members.
- Well-developed communication, relationship building skills and
- Strong commercial business acumen and business focused values firmly centered in integrity and the building and maintaining of trust.
