About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
We are looking for an NCEA Implementation Facilitator to be based in the Greater Wellington regional office. You will work as part of a wider regional team (takiwā), consisting of 10 NCEA Implementation Facilitators, and in a team of thee based in the regional office. As a NCEA Implementation Facilitator, you will have a key sector engagement role, working directly with local schools and kura to support them as they implement the new NCEA. To do this, you will draw on a strategy and resources developed with the central Implementation Team and tailor to the specific needs and deliver them to the schools and kura you are working with.

We are currently in need of an NCEA Implementation Facilitator in Performing Arts (dance, drama, music), Science, Te Reo Māori and Technology.

**An NCEA Implementation Facilitator will also**:

- collaborate with the National Office Implementation Team, in particular Learning Area Leads, on strategic approaches and resources for implementation.
- collaborate with other NCEA Implementation Facilitator across the country and be part of a takiwā Implementation team.
- report to and align your work with your Regional Office leadership.
- work collaboratively with Regional Leadership and Curriculum Leads, as well as the sector and its leaders to ensure consistent and well-aligned implementation of the refreshed NCEA in schools and kura across Aotearoa New Zealand.
- support teaching professionals to understand the new NCEA products and how they are best implemented into specific local contexts, thereby helping their learners develop the competencies they need for study, work, and life-long learning.
- ensure effective feedback loops from regional relationship stakeholders to National Office teams and back again.

For more details about the role, you can view the job description here.

**We also offer**:

- Flexible working arrangements where everyone feels valued & supported.
- The ability to purchase extra days leave.
- A range of employee network groups.
- An inclusive environment that encourages your personal cultural competency journey.
- Development and learning, including mentorship programmes and internal secondments.
- Wellness initiatives to support your overall health and wellbeing.

About you | Mōhou ake

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Secondary teaching qualification and middle management experience.
- A thorough understanding of the NCEA qualification.
- Experience facilitating groups with diverse participants.
- Interest in building their knowledge and capability in te reo Māori and tīkanga Māori.
- Ability to operate at pace and succeed in an ever-changing environment.
