Te
Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) is seeking a highly competent administrator to
support the Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) initiative at Nelson Marlborough on a
fixed term, part time basis, working 40 hours a fortnight for 12 months.
As
part of the FCT team, you will be directly responsible for coordinating, including
live minute taking three local Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, which involve clinicians
from various facets of healthcare, and focus on best practice for cancer
patient - s treatment options.
You
will support local clinicians to engage in relevant external Multi-Disciplinary
Meetings as appropriate for different tumour streams.
You
will also support and coordinate the implementation of relevant systems and
processes to ensure that Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) consistently
promotes best practice and care for managing cancer services, as part of the national
FCT initiative.
Your
role will enable increased clinical activity allowing best use of clinicians
- time spent caring for patients.
The starting
salary for this position is $64,903 to $67,787 (pro rata i.e. based on a
40 hour working week).

We

- highly organised
- able to interpret and report on data
- capable of developing systems and experienced
with videoconferencing
- have database management experience
- fluent with medical terminology
- experienced with agenda management and minute
taking in professional meetings.
You must be a forward thinker, with excellent organisational and communication
skills, combined with a high degree of computer and administration skills. You
will also be an active organiser, with initiative and flexibility and the
ability to multi task.
Te Whatu Ora staff must
have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations as
they have direct contact with patients and members of the public.
